WHICH ONE TO CHOOSE?

Text-based access to professional dog training

Both options provide direct, text-based access to professional dog training guidance, allowing you to ask questions and receive clear, practical advice as you work with your dog.

Text a Trainer is a great option if you’re looking for ongoing support while working through training on your own.
You can ask questions, receive written guidance, and stay on track with your dog’s progress.

Text a Trainer Plus is ideal if you would like the added benefit of priority responses and included Training Consultations.
This option works well for clients who want both day-to-day guidance by text and occasional in-person support when needed.

If you’re unsure where to start, Text a Trainer is often a great first step. You can always upgrade to Text a Trainer Plus later if you find you’d benefit from the additional support.

Important limitations

Text a Trainer:

  • Is not a replacement for in-person dog training

  • Does not include behaviour modification or Trainer-Led Practice

  • Does not provide emergency or urgent support

  • Does not involve live sessions or real-time coaching


When hands-on work or structured training is required, recommendations may include In-Person Dog Training, Trainer-Led Practice, or other appropriate services.

Text a Trainer is a recurring monthly subscription. Your selected plan will automatically renew each month and continue until cancelled.

You may cancel your subscription at any time by sending a written cancellation request, either by text to the Text a Trainer number or by email. Once your request is received, the cancellation will be confirmed.

Your access to the service will remain active until the end of your current billing period. Please note that partial refunds are not provided for any unused time within the billing cycle.
